It is medal day for India! Manpreet
Singh, captain of Indian men’s hockey team, was in tears. He could not believe
that his boys had done it after a long wait of four decades. Magic has been
done. Indian hockey team clinched bronze medal by defeating Germany.
Simranjeet Singh of team India
was the centre of attraction by hitting victorious goal. This is first Olympic
bronze for the team India after 1980 Olympic.
Not only hockey, Indian
spectators should wait for more medals on Thursday as Ravi Dahia has already
assured silver medal in wrestling by making entry in final.
More medals are expected to come in wrestling, women’s hockey, javelin throw and other games.
