Indian spectators have received some solace on Wednesday as Indian players are now close to clinch more medals. Wednesday started with Lovlina bronze medal. Although, she lost the semi-final match in boxing by 5-0 against her Turkish opponent number one boxer Busenaz Surmeneli but she had already assured the medal as per rules.

news came from wrestling. Deepak Punia and Ravi Dahia have made their entry into semi-finals. They made their entry into
86-kg and 57-kg categories respectively in wrestling.

Chopra’s entry into javelin throw final also gives some hope for spectators. He
threw 86.65 meters to qualify for final.
Wednesday was also the day of semi-final in women’s hockey. Spectator’s
expectations are high as the women team is going to play in Olympic semi-final
for the first time.
